You want to immortalize your human or animal favorite with painting by numbers photo? It's very easy!
The ordering process
The ordering process for your painting by numbers with your own motif consists of three main steps:
1. Purchase
First, select the "paint your darling" product from Schipper and complete the purchase through our store. Note that there are two variants of the product, which will be presented in more detail later.
2. Submission of the photo
After purchasing, you have twelve months to select a photo and send it in together with the return shipping label. Important: the photo that you want to repaint later should be in good quality on photo paper. It should also be a sharp, well-exposed image of a human or animal head, i.e. a portrait. Landscape pictures, drawings or photos that show vehicles and buildings, for example, are not suitable for designing with the "paint your darling" system.
3. Receipt of the template
The conversion of your photograph into a painting template is a time-consuming process that can take up to three weeks. As soon as the template has been created, we will send it to you together with your submitted photo in the fastest possible way by mail.
The painting process
When your personalized painting template has arrived, your painting by numbers photo experience can begin. The delivery includes all the materials you need to paint your favorite step by step. You will not only receive the painting template, but also brushes, paints, a cardboard painting back and a photo mount.
The "paint your darling" system works with a maximum of 42 colors that are available in small pots and, conveniently, do not have to be mixed yourself. The outline template tells you which color to apply to which areas with the brush. This shows the photo in outlines with many small areas, with a number assigned to each area. So you just have to follow the numbers to paint your favorite field by field.

Alternatively, the "in black and white" variant is a possibility. Here, up to 24 color gradations between black and white play together to create a stylish end result with depth.
